Hi all!

Just a quick lil note to go with a quote I just sent to a very special friend of mine.  It is one of my all-time favourites by one of my all-time favourite people and mentor- Nelson Mandela.  Enjoy...

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be
brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?"

NELSON MANDELA

Will be in touch again v.soon- I have some fab news, dates, stories, adventures to share!  But until then.... GO AUSTRALIA!!!!!

(Who's up early for soccer & a cooked brekkie tom :)?!!!

Awake is the New Sleep

Alright kiddies, this has been a long time coming!

Last October I had what was without a doubt "the best night of my life!".......  Now that may sound like a MASSIVE call but all my other "Best Night's ever" do actually fall wayside to this one.  Now you may be asking why it is I tell you about this crazy night now- well that would be becuase TJ & I FINALLY downloaded the photos from her camera which we somehow, but not surprisingly, broke that night!!!!!

Soooo, the night in question was a Ben Lee & Missy Higgins collaboration with a few very cool support acts.  It took place on Friday 28 October 2005 in Centennial Park Sydney on a balmy Spring afternoon/evening.  I bought TJ the golden ticket for her birthday after convincing her (very easily) of the divine talent that is Mr. Ben Lee, & knowing she was already a Missy fan. - And anyone that has ever spoken to me for more than 5minutes (or sometimes less :) knows how utterly taken I am by this funny little man.  He speaks my truth (how many people can we say this of???)  He "gets it" & he is "in it"/in the moment/living from his heart- see Garden State (all of it, till the end :) to get the vibe of what it is to finally be "in it".

It's hard to put into words what happened on this wonderous evening, but all I can say is it was BIG, & all that were there felt it.  Ben himelf describes it well on his Blog, which also has a very cool clip of what happened when he walked out on stage... - If you listen carefully you can makeout my high-pitched squeal & almost see TJ & I jumping around like maniacs about 5 or so people from the front right smack in the middle!!!!!  It still gives me goosies..... Smile

Make sure you check out the photo album (Awake is the New Sleep) & enlarge the photos of Ben on stage, they are just magic!!!  Taken from the shoulders of some tall dude that was so gracious to let us enjoy a song or 3 from this awesome viewpoint.  There was no flashing of titties- it wasn't that kind of concert- though Ben & Missy did perform a HOT rendition of "Laid" -  "this bed is on fire...... with passionate love, the neighbours complain...........Wink"

Think you might be beginning to get the idea...

Tongue out

TJ I know you can comment on this one!!!............................

Just do it... whatever it is

Big love

In the Moment

Ok I know I have been slack, you would think with the lifestyle I am currently leading I would make some time to keep you updated. ‘Tis surprising how quickly the days, & weeks go right now. You know time flies when you’re having fun & all that!- so will make this a BIG one!......................................................................... So while I wait to set sail I’ve been doing some very cool things, & having some great experiences. Check out my photos for a couple more Rainbow shots- Reaffirmation is a beautiful thing!!!... I finally got down to Brisbane a couple of weeks back, after spending the day in Noosa with Mum which was very cool as always. Anyway, I went to Brisbane to see my girls Josie & Mel (C., 3, Churchy Girl), & had an absolute blast. We got slightly intoxicated & proceeded to call Mel (B., 2, Marley), whilst she was trying to work (in London- sorry Marley : )!!! There is also some very incriminating video footage that somewhat resembles dodgy 80’s music videos, that we have sworn will never be shown to another soul!!! We finally fell into bed giggling our asses off close to 5am after Josie yelled at Mel & I to shut-up & go to bed! The rest of the weekend consisted of Mel & I backing up for lunch on the Gold Coast with Nikki & Lisa, this of course turned into karaoke till the early hours of Sunday when we finally passed out on the floor! Am not sure I have laughed so hard in my merry lil life. Have still been having lots of laughs with Em & Lil B- & a few tears & tantrums too as life with an 18mth old goes (so I am learning). On Sunday I climbed Mount Coolum with Tentsy & Toby. It’s not very high, but is pretty steep. And after kicking on Saturday nite at Kristy, Jordan & Toby’s after poker I’m surprised we managed it at all! But am so glad we did, was very cool- we even took a lil packed lunch (I have to mention Tents really outdid himself with the tomato, balsamic, bocconcini & fresh basil)- which we enjoyed along with the A-Grade view across the gorgeous coast and hinterland. Afterwards we were clearly feeling inspired & so decided to visit Buderim Falls as well. I should have some photos soon but I can’t download anything right now as the hard disk on this lil fella (my apple) is completely full! What else, oh one of the coolest things I have come across in a while is Reiki. My very lovely friend Gleny (otherwise known as the Zen Master) gave me a Reiki treatment for a sore neck & shoulder a few weeks back, & I am totally hooked on the idea so am learning how to do it! Gleny has kindly given me a book which I am reading, but I cannot practice until I have an “Attunement”. Would be cool if I could get this done & be able to treat others, & myself with the healing practice of Reiki. Is very exciting, & all very Rainbow I know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now before I run- some more words from Deepak Chopra to get you thinking (& make you forget all the crap I just rambled on with ; ) ... "In detachment lies the wisdom of uncertainty... in the wisdom of uncertainty lies the freedom from our past, from the known, which is past conditioning. And in our willingness to step into the unknown, the field of all possibilities, we surrender ourselves to the creative mind that orchestrates the dance of the universe". - It’s a beautiful thing!...................... So allot of you are asking questions about if & when I am going away (or whether I am just turning into a sunny coast bum ; ). And the answer is yes I am going, unfortunately, or in reality- fortunately, I have been temporarily held up here, but being here I know I am exactly where I am supposed to be right now in this moment. Things aren’t happening exactly the way I had planned, but the best things always take time, & a life change as big as the one I am making can’t happen overnight- & is certainly worth waiting for. So........... until I write with news of dates I will keep dancing, keep learning & keep chasing those rainbows!!!!!!!!! Much love xxx rainbow
